Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce

The Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce is a business community service organization that is supported by the efforts of its members who represent business, industry, and professional areas, and who are interested in stimulating the business climate and attracting new businesses to the area, as well as in building a better community.

Members of the Board as well as Chamber members are active in the Wheaton Urban District Advisory Committee, the Mid-County Citizens Advisory Board, the Kensington Town Council, the Wheaton Redevelopment Steering Committee, and Leadership Montgomery. In this sense, the Chamber becomes a “voice” for the business community, and addresses areas of need through various local government channels.

The Chamber provides many opportunities for members to network, advertise and promote their business. Through the annual Community Guide, the bi-monthly newsletter, the website, flyers, lunches, and mixers, businesses can stay informed and create more business and opportunity for themselves.

Chamber members’ business or organization listings are included in the annual Community Guide and Chamber Membership Directory, which is published and distributed as a public service to the business and residential communities. Member listings are also on the Chamber website with links back to member websites.
