Mid-County Citizens Advisory Board (MCCAB)

Established in 1978, the MCCAB is selected by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Council to serve 3-year terms. The Boards serves as a bridge from the county to residents and businesses located in the Mid-County area of Montgomery County to:

• Provide advice and recommendations to County Executive on policy and budget issues
• Advise on planning and goal setting procedures
• Advise on legislative matters
• Educate community on government structure and services
• Facilitate solutions to community problems
• Work with neighborhoods and civic associations to foster sense of community
