Wheaton Veterans Park is located at the intersection of Amherst Avenue and Reedie Drive.

This One-acre park provides attractively-lanscaped open space in the downtown and in addition to paying tribute to those who served this country in the military, the park also honors John P. Hewitt, a former Director of Parks and Commissioner with the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).
