Hear Katherine Gekker and Mark Harris read from their poetry. A literary trivia quiz and brief open mic are included in the program.
Katherine Gekker is the author of In Search of Warm Breathing Things (Glass Lyre Press) and O My Charmer (Dancing Girl Press). Her poems have appeared in many journals. She served as Poetry Assistant Editor for Delmarva Review.Composers Eric Ewazen and Carson Cooman have set collections of Gekker’s poems to music. Gekker was born in Washington, DC. She founded a commercial printing company in 1974 and sold it 31 years later.
Mark Harris is a writer, editor, and book designer. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Arkansas International, Brooklyn Rail, Denver Quarterly, The Hopkins Review, Notre Dame Review, Ocean State Review, Raleigh Review, Shearsman, and a wide range of other publications.
