The 9th Annual Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, running from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout Wheaton’s Arts & Entertainment District.
Expect a full day of art, culture, and community, starting with a lively parade at 10 a.m. that starts at Ennalls and Grandview Avenues, marches along Georgia Avenue, weaves through Reedie Drive and Triangle Lane, and finishes at the Marian Fryer Town Plaza festival area.
The festival opens concurrently with the parade—at 10 a.m.—featuring more than 50 artist booths, two Kids’ Zones with free face painting, balloon twisting, and art-making, plus food vendors, public art installations, and multiple stages showcasing a variety of performances.
This event is free for both attendees and participants—everyone is invited. Individuals, families, schools, businesses, and community groups can walk in the parade with something creative to carry, wear, push, pull or perform. Art is defined broadly: puppets, costumes, floats, dance, music, painting—if you can imagine it, you can bring it.
Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival is organized to bring the Wheaton community together through art, to showcase local artists, to celebrate the area’s cultural diversity, and to reinforce Wheaton’s potential as a thriving arts destination.
