“An engaging book that often reads like a novel” -- Kirkus Reviews
Join Francene Mary Diane Hill as she shares insights on her new creative biography, Tiny Tots in Tiaras and Tuxedos: The Life, Love, and Business Success of Kermit B. Hill.
“Readers will find this to be an engaging book.” – Kirkus Reviews
From guarding wartime secrets at the Pentagon to founding the Tiny Tot Nursery School, which empowered generations of children for six decades, Kermit B. Hill’s story is one of resilience and community. Francene will share how she transformed old love letters, newspaper clippings, and vintage photographs into a vivid portrait of a woman who sought to “create a world where young Black children could be kings and queens.” Attendees will discover why Kirkus calls this an “accessible, valuable addition to the histories of Black businesswomen in America.”
