June through August we will have Workshops every 4th Sunday afternoon.

Work alongside Artists and volunteers to creatively problem solve and turn non-recyclable plastics and other donated materials into a large-scale , light-weight Art Sculpture that will become a Parade Float for the Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival held on Sunday, September 19th, 2021.

You will help create and make art, assist others in the art making process and work as a team.

Volunteers will come early to help prepare the space and set up and follow Artist Lead Instructor guidance.
They will assist any visitors to the free workshops events over summer and get them making art together.
Volunteers will also help with basic clean up and organizing materials at the end of each workshop. SSL hours available. contact for more details. info@wheatonartsparade.org (age 11 and up for SSL)

*Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty or messy in, closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops)*
