The Taste of Wheaton takes place on Sunday, May 15, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Wheaton Triangle at the corner of Grandview Avenue and Reedie Drive in downtown Wheaton (one block north of the Wheaton Metro station).

The Taste of Wheaton will feature:
- Food samples from downtown Wheaton’s best restaurants at prices ranging from $1 to $5 per “taste”
- Two stages of live entertainment featuring:
Electrokoustic Band (Jazz)
Appaloosa Band (Top 40 Classic Rock)
JCJ Band (Salsa/Latin)
Secret Society (Top 40 R&B/Funk)
Rocknoceros (Music for kids)
RTTs (Music for kids)
Blue Sky Puppet Theatre
- Kids rides
- Face painting, balloon sculptures and caricature drawings by D's Magic
- County/nonprofit and local business exhibit booths
NEW ADDITIONS THIS YEAR
- DJ area featuring DJ P-Funk
DJs will spin a mix of your favorite music from Top 40s pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Latin and everything in between. Dancers from Urban Artistry , Albert Einstein HS Titanes Salseros and Wheaton Studio of Dance will show off their moves.
- "Wheaton Idol" Karaoke: So you think you can belt out tunes better than Bieber, Beyonce or Gaga? Prove it!
