Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center is the largest independent music store in the country and a Wheaton institution since 1968. Opened in 1958 by Chuck and Marge Levin, Washington Music Center relocated to Wheaton after the riots following the assassination of MLK Jr. in 1968. Since, Chuck and Marge grew the store into a desination known around the world as the go-to shop for "Everything in Music."
