Downtown Wheaton’s web site – www.wheatonmd.org – was chosen as a winner in the 25th Annual American Graphic Design & Advertising (AGDA) competition. These awards showcase the best in the field of graphic design and advertising in the United States.
Wheatonmd.org was designed by Nana Design, a graphic design firm located in the Wheaton Business Innovation Center
in downtown Wheaton. The newly-designed site was launched in October 2008 and since its inception has provided more than 120,000 pages of information about the merchants, attractions and events of downtown Wheaton.
As the official web site for the Wheaton Urban District, wheatonmd.org provides a one-stop destination for all that downtown Wheaton has to offer, including restaurants, shopping, events, redevelopment and community news. The bright colors, photos and interactive map features all contribute to making the site user-friendly.
AGDA is a highly respected showcase for print advertising and design in the U.S. Over the years, the annual design competition has included submissions from various types of businesses, including Adobe, FedEx, Unilever and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Nana Design is a full-service graphic design firm that works with government agencies, nonprofits and socially responsible businesses.
