Gilchrist Center for Cultural Diversity
The Gilchrist Center demonstrates its commitment to foster understanding amongst the residents of Montgomery County by offering programs that highlight the community's diversity, its cultural wealth and uniqueness, as well as providing useful skills and services to its population.
In order to fulfill its mission and goals, the center relies on the efforts of many groups including; individuals, community organizations, intergovernmental agencies, and corporate sponsors to assist in the centers' programming and services.
A Cultural Ambassador (CA) Program was created to facilitate the community involvement process. Outreach efforts to recruit volunteers include all segments of the population on both an individual and organizational level.
